Polio vaccine increases cancer risk?
I just read through passing that during the 50's millions of children were given the polio vaccine. Little did they know that those vaccines came from monkey-tissues, that the scientists know would cause soft-tissue cancers later on.

Have you ever heard of this?

Yes, this is actually well known. The polio vaccines given back in the 50s and 60s were cultured on green monkey kidneys. The vaccines became contaminated from the monkey kidneys with a virus known as simian vacuole virus type 40 (SV40). The virus has been linked to various human cancers such as mesothelioma, brain cancer, osteosarcoma, ependymoma and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

There were actually 90 million Americans alone that were inoculated with the contaminated vaccines. The contaminated vaccines were also distributed in Europe.
