Bone & Joint Formula, Silica, Hair?
Besides the obvious on helping bones, would this formula also benefit hair, skin, and nails because of the silica? If taking this formula, would you still recommend using diatomaceous earth soaked in water too?

The wife was looking into taking Biotin supplements to help with her hair. Told her I would ask the question on here and see what recommendations came back.

Thanks.

I do recommend the Bone and Joint Formula for other things such as skin and hair.

Silica is used to strengthen the hair. So yes, adding the DE to water is still a good idea.

Sulfur sources help provide the sulfur that makes up the double sulfur bonds of hair and nail protein called keratin.

There is no real evidence that biotin helps with hair growth. It can help prevent hair loss though making the hair look thicker.

Hi James, are the herbs in your formula standardized extracts or are they concentrated powders such as 10:1?

Thanks!

We use concentrated extracts primarily. The only standardized extract is the seaweed standardized for iodine content.
