mucus plaque intefering withabsorbing nutrients
Hi james I know u told me to take yucca root for absorption but as I am reading on different websites am I really absorbing my nutrients
this one website says mucus plaque block absorption

and then my second link on the other website says when u have leaky gut the carrier proteins are damage so it will not absorb no nutrients

and I read somewhere else that even if the nutrients get into the cells are body is so toxic that calcium start accumulating in the all the body cell membranes and it stabalize the cells too much that nutrients is not going to be absorb in the cells sorry about this James I just want to really make sure im absorbing my nutrients cause i kind of underweight
Im so confused can u help me out with this

Cleansing The Small Intestine

Dr. William Donald Kelley, D.D.S., M.S.

Extracted from One Answer to Cancer

If there were only one kind of pill that would help everybody, the cancer patient or otherwise, it would be "Okra-Pepsin-E3" made by Standard Process, Inc. It would probably do the nation’s health more good than any other one pill. It digests the mucus that coats the walls of many people’s small intestine. Certain foods, such as pasteurized milk and many cooked foods, cause the mucus buildup on the wall of the small intestine (raw foods do not cause this mucus buildup). The mucus coats the villi on the wall of the small intestine. The villi are like tiny fingers that stick out from the intestinal wall to absorb nutrients from the digested food, which is primarily liquid. The mucus on the villi blocks the absorption of nutrients from the food. Sometimes the mucus gets so thick and tough it is almost like a plastic film. Almost no nutrition can get through to the body. A person with a severe mucus buildup could take $1,000.00 worth of supplements a month along with a good diet and still get almost no nutritional value from them. He or she would be starving and therefore would want to eat more food including protein. That would lead to more of the pancreatic enzymes being used to digest the protein even though it could not be properly absorbed. When all the pancreatic enzymes are used up, there are none left in the blood to destroy cancer cells.

The okra is a very sticky, gooey, vegetable material. It tends to stick the pepsin enzyme to the mucus on the intestinal wall long enough to digest some of the mucus. The E-3 is a powerful tissue repair factor. It was originally developed for the patient with stomach ulcers or colitis.

If the Okra-Pepsin-E3 capsules are taken for a few days to several weeks, one after each meal (reduce the amount of capsules if diarrhea occurs), the mucus will gradually be digested. The blood can then receive more nutrients from the food, even if it is from a poor diet. Then, once a year, take the Okra-Pepsin-E3 capsules again for a few days or a week to keep the mucus from building back up.

The mucus blockage varies with different people. Sometimes it blocks minerals and larger molecules only, while in other people it partially blocks all nutrients.

While taking the Okra-Pepsin-E3 capsules people who have heavily mucus-coated intestines might find mucus coming out with their stool, convoluted like the intestines. Dr. Kelley has had people who have been taking the capsules call him to say that they think they have just passed their intestines and what should they do? (He assures them it wasn’t their intestines; it was ropes — or tubes — of mucus!)

One 37-year-old patient called Dr. Kelley to report that the Okra-Pepsin-E3 capsules worked a miracle by relieving reoccurring pain that she had suffered with for years. (The pain would come and go apparently without cause and felt like bricks were pressing against her internal organs and lower back and at the same time her right side and leg would feel numb.) On the morning of the eighth day, after taking one Okra-Pepsin-E3 capsule with each meal for a week, she spent 45 minutes sweating, straining and pushing to have a bowel movement, and when it finally came out she could hardly believe what she saw — long, intertwined black ropes (or collapsed tubes) of mucus filled the toilet! She feels lighter now and hasn’t had the pain since that day. (After this bowel movement and the disappearance of her pain she realized that there must have been a connection to eating a large meal and the pain — food passing through the intestine would push the mucus-coated intestine onto nerves, which caused the pain and numbness.)

The Okra-Pepsin-E3 is indicated for both underweight and overweight people. In both cases nutrients are not being absorbed. Even if they are taking enzymes to digest the food they eat, they absorb only the smaller carbohydrate molecules while the larger protein molecules are blocked. In underweight people the carbohydrates are used efficiently (burned for energy, not turned into fat), but the person becomes thin as they lose muscle mass from lack of protein absorption. In overweight people the carbohydrates are not used efficiently (they are turned into fat), and this causes the person to become overweight as they also lose muscle mass.

Metamucil™ (Psyllium husks), one or two tablespoons daily, mixed with water or juice, may be taken to sweep the mucus out of the colon once it is broken down by the pepsin in the Okra-Pepsin-E3 capsules.

Note: Please see Resources, page 169, to order Okra-Pepsin-E3.

Leaky gut

Let’s review the five-fold result of this inflammation of the gut. (1) When the gut is inflamed it does not absorb nutrients and foods properly and so fatigue and bloating can occur; (2) As stated above, when large food particles are absorbed there is the creation of food allergies and new symptoms with new target organs like arthritis or fibromyalgia; (3) When the gut is inflamed, as stated above, the carrier proteins are damaged so nutrient deficiencies occur which can also cause any symptom, like magnesium deficiency-induced muscle spasm or copper-deficiency-induced high cholesterol; (4) Likewise, when the detox pathways that line the gut are compromised, chemical sensitivity can arise. Furthermore the leakage of toxins overburdens the liver so that the body is less able to handle everyday chemicals; (5) When the gut lining is inflamed the protective coating of IgA is adversely affected and the body is not able to ward off infection and becomes more vulnerable to bacteria, protozoa, viruses and yeast like candida; (6) When the intestinal lining is inflamed bacteria and yeast, of which there are hundreds of species in the intestine, are able to translocate. In other words, they are able to pass from the gut lumen or cavity, into the bloodstream and set up infection anywhere else in the body. But, (7) the very worst symptom is the formation of auto-antibodies For sometimes the antigens that leak across look similar to antigens on our own tissues. So when an antibody is made to attack it, it also attacks our own tissues. This is how nasty autoimmune diseases get started. Rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, multiple sclerosis, thyroiditis and many others are members of this ever-growing category of “incurable” diseases.

So a common scenario runs

So a common scenario runs

The article is a lot of hype. Here is an old post I did on the myth of mucoid plaque:

http://curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1509584#i

The intestine always has a thin layer of mucus that helps waste to move easily through the intestines, helps to maintain moisture for the flora, helps to reduce intestinal irritation and parasites. We do not have thick, rubbery, black mucoid plaque. If this were true not only could we easily die from malnutrition but also from the intestinal blockage.

I have also heard some claims that the rubbery mass some people do pass is in large part from the psyllium they are ingesting, which does form a thick mucilage.

By the way, I do not recommend psyllium as a fiber source. The husks can be hard on the intestines. and psyllium is well known for causing gas and bloating.

It is also a common myth that milk causes mucus:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUCgEL7JaOI

The claim about pancreatic enzymes being used up and therefore not being available to kill cancer cells makes no sense. Let's say for example a person has lung cancer. How do the pancreatic enzymes reach the lung since there is no pathway and even if the enzymes were to get in to the blood to reach the lungs then a lot of healthy tissue would be digested in the process. Pancreatic enzymes entering the bloodstream is very rare and extremely dangerous.

Furthermore, mucus is a mucopolysaccharide, not a protein. Pepsin is not going to eliminate it.

They really do not understand leaky gut either. Leaky gut does result from inflammation, bu the "carrier proteins" are not denatured. What enters the bloodstream are partially dissolved proteins dissolved in solution known as "protein solutes". These can trigger immune reactions, which in turn can tax the adrenal glands. This can lead to immune disorders in the form of autoimmunity and can increase inflammation.

In short, the article is full of sales hype.
