Too Much Seaweed?
Greetings!

I don't know if I'm the only one, but I absolutely love diving into a bag of dulse flakes and eating it by the spoon full. I love the stuff! It makes me smile knowing how delicious and nutritious it is. But, I do realize that for example, it's a pretty potent source of iodine, and I believe potassium as well, and I'm sure a host of all sorts of other stuff.

To give an example, one tablespoon has about 330% dv of iodine, according to the packaging. Let's say I went a bit wild and had like 8 tablespoons of the stuff, that's 2640% dv of iodine in one sitting. I'm a bit concerned about this fact.

I love the world of abundance we live in that this high amount of nutrition is possible- but also concerned that I may be over doing it? Tongue

Thanks a bunch!
