Minimum Amount of Protein and Fat - vrob - 03-17-2014 11:24 AM

What is the minimum amount of protein and fat we need per day (in grams)?
Is 30 grams of protein too low? And is 32 grams of fat an okay amount?

According to Dr John McDougall 6-10% fat is ideal and so is a low protein diet....around 50 g for most avg sized people.Higher amounts of protein are better for body growth (increasing ILGF-1)but higher ILGF-1 also promotes the growth of cancer.

For young people more protein might be better but once we reach 40 or so its best to cut back.
