Can You Heal Arthritis? - Whitey - 07-03-2012 05:23 PM

Hi,

I had a low dose Cat scan last year to make sure I didn't break my neck in a road bike accident I was in, and the Chiro told me I have Arthritis in my neck and showed it to me on the X ray. This year another Chiropractor told me that Arthritis cannot be healed, she said that once you get arthritis, you always have it, but, being into holistic health for 30+ years, I have a hard time believing that. Can it be healed with something like Silica in DE?

You are right, arthritis is not a chronic disorder and can be successfully treated.

There are actually over120 forms of arthritis, which simply means inflammation of the joint.

Silica is a big factor in treating arthritis as is vitamin C.

I have more detailed information on my Bone and Joint write up:

Although I have to update the ingredient list some it will still give you some details.

Good, glad to hear this and thanks again for the info. Another reason not to accept the doom & gloom prognosis of mainstream "healthcare" people.

Hi James, your Bone and Joint product looks great! By just reading the write up I am discovering new things. Like, phytoestrogens to prevent bone loss. I didn't know this. How do phytoestrogens do that? And I didn't know that stevia is an antibiotic!

Can a breast cancer patient take your Bone and Joint product? It has Vitex which raises progesterone and I thought you were against the idea of raising progesterone levels even with herbs like Vitex and more so with progesterone creams. Maybe your Bone and Joint product doesn't contain too much Vitex as to cause a problem?

Through several mechanisms. One is preventing bone resorption. Also be inhibiting collagen loss and by preventing or reducing thyroid over activity. Even though the phytoestrogens themselves are weakly estrogenic and bind estrogen receptors some research has indicated that the phytoestrogens may have to be converted by the gut flora in to the more active metabolite equol.

And I didn't know that stevia is an antibiotic!

Yes, here is one of the studies on it:

I am against raising the levels of progesterone significantly, especially to the point of creating progesterone dominance, which is more likely with the creams. But progesterone does play its role in bone health so there is a small amount of vitex added to the formula more to help maintain the body's own production. The level in there is well below the normal dose used to address hormone imbalances so not enough really to raise the progesterone levels. Again it is more in there to help give the glands a little nudge to maintain normal progesterone levels.

The arthritis I had in my neck, seems to have gone away. I don't even know if I can feel it any more.

I'm age 62, male. This goes to show that aging doesn't mean falling apart as long as you take care of yourself well.

Borax is a boron source. Boron can strengthen bones, but it is only one of many nutrients required for healthy bones.

What are the most important nutrients required for healthy bones and joints?

It seems that boron has more to it than being just good for the bones, because the article says that "Borax is also effective with other forms of arthritis, such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Juvenile Arthritis, and Lupus (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus)". Maybe the strong fungicidal properties of Borax has something to do with this?

The most important nutrients for bones and joints are silica and vitamin C. Boron is good for bones, but is not going to help the joints.

And I have not seen any evidence that it will help with autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, which is bacterial induced, or lupus, which is believed to be viral induced.
